TFP Software FZCO (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. This Cookies Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can manage them.

This policy reflects our commitment to compliance with data protection laws across the globe, including but not limited to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, the European Union (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, the United Kingdom (UK GDPR and PECR), the United States (CCPA/CPRA and CalOPPA), Australia (Privacy Act), Canada (PIPEDA), Türkiye (KVKK), and all other applicable jurisdictions.

We have drawn inspiration from leading financial services and trading platforms to ensure this policy meets the highest standards of transparency and regulatory compliance. Regardless of your location, we are committed to ensuring your privacy is respected and your rights are protected.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which sets out how and why we collect, store, use, and share personal information generally, as well as your rights in relation to your personal information.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you access websites. They are used to improve website performance, remember your preferences, and collect data for analytical purposes.

Cookies typically do not store personal information directly but may link to data you provide to enhance your user experience.

Cookies can be classified by:

3. Types of Cookies

Cookies can be classified by their lifespan and by the website to which they belong.

Lifespan of cookies

Session cookies are temporary and deleted once you close your web browser.
Persistent cookies may stay on your device for a long time after the session has ended.

Website cookies

First-party cookies belong to the website you are browsing — for example, a cookie used to identify you when you log in.
Third-party cookies belong to a different website from the one you are visiting — for example, advertising tracking cookies.

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

Cookies are commonly grouped into the four categories below. The first is always active because the website cannot work without it. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional: they are set only if you allow them, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.

Strictly Necessary / Essential Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly. They enable basic functions like page navigation, requests for services, secure logins, and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies. They do not store any personally identifiable information.

The law states that we can store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission. This is consistent with the ePrivacy Directive and its implementation across EU Member States, as well as the UAE PDPL, the KSA PDPL, and other applicable laws worldwide.

Under the UAE PDPL, consent must be explicit and provided via affirmative action; pre-ticked boxes are not permitted. Similarly, the KSA PDPL requires explicit, informed consent before placing non-essential cookies on user devices.

Performance / Analytics Cookies

These collect information about how you use the website, which pages you visit, and whether you encounter errors. They allow a site to count visits and traffic sources in order to measure and improve performance.

We use analytics cookies only with your consent. They are switched off until you allow them in our cookie banner, and you can withdraw that permission at any time from the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page. Refusing them does not affect your use of the website in any way.

Functional Cookies

These enable a website to remember choices you have made and to tailor the site to your needs — for example a language selection or other saved preferences.

We do not use functional cookies. Your language selection, theme choice, and similar display settings are stored in your browser and never sent to us.

Targeting / Advertising Cookies

These are used to deliver relevant ads and marketing campaigns. They track visitors across websites and collect information to build a profile of your interests and show you adverts on other sites.

We use advertising cookies only with your consent, to measure our advertising on social media platforms and to show our ads to people who have already visited this website. They are switched off until you allow them, and you can withdraw that permission at any time from the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not allow advertising partners to use data collected through our site to build profiles for anyone other than us.

5. Cookies We Use

The table below lists everything this website can store on your device and why. The first five entries are strictly necessary and are set automatically. The last two are optional: they are set only after you allow the corresponding category in our cookie banner, and are removed or blocked when you withdraw that permission.

Important

Under the ePrivacy Directive, the GDPR, and similar provisions under the UAE PDPL, KSA PDPL, and other applicable laws, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the requirement to obtain prior consent — they are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. Every other cookie in the table above requires your prior consent, and none of them is placed on your device until you give it. Refusing them has no effect on your access to the website, your free trial, your subscription, or any support you receive from us.

We still do not do any of the following:

Sell or rent your personal data to anyone
Set any optional cookie before you have allowed it
Use cookies to make automated decisions about you, your licence, or your account
Link advertising or analytics data to your trading account numbers or licence status
Allow advertising partners to use data collected here to build profiles for their own unrelated purposes

Our video guides are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode and load nothing until you press play. If we introduce any further non-essential cookie or a new advertising partner, we will update this policy, and ask for your consent again before placing it on your device.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on this website are set by third parties rather than by us. One of them is strictly necessary and is set automatically; the rest are optional and are set only if you allow them.

The third parties involved, and what each of them does, are:

Cloudflare (strictly necessary) — protects the site against bots, fraud, and abuse, and powers the human-verification check on our sign-up, sign-in, and contact forms. Without it we cannot keep the site available and secure, so it is set automatically.
Google, through Google Tag Manager (consent required) — Google Tag Manager is the tool we use to load and control the optional tags below. It is configured with Google Consent Mode, which means every advertising and analytics tag it manages starts in a blocked state and is only released once you have allowed the matching category.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, X, and LinkedIn (consent required) — measure how our advertising on those platforms performs, and allow them to show our ads to people who have visited this website. Set only if you allow the Marketing category.
Our payment partner (strictly necessary) — would set a cookie only when you open the secure checkout, and only to process your payment. Subscriptions are not open at present, so this does not currently happen.

In relation to all of the third parties above, we:

Load no optional third-party tag until you have consented to its category
Disclose every third party in this policy, by name, before it can be loaded
Let you withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page, after which those tags are blocked again
Will update this policy and ask for your consent afresh before adding any further third party
Do not permit any of them to sell your data, or to use data collected here for their own unrelated purposes

These third parties are independent controllers of the data they receive through their own cookies, and their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policies. Because they operate globally, allowing the optional categories may involve your data being transferred outside your country — see our Privacy Policy for how such transfers are protected.

7. Consent to Use Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically and do not require your consent, because the website cannot work without them. Every other cookie — analytics and advertising — requires your prior, explicit consent, and is not placed on your device until you have given it.

How we ask

On your first visit we show a banner that asks for your choice. The banner:

Names the optional categories — Analytics and Marketing — and explains what each one does, with strictly necessary cookies shown separately as always active
Links to this Cookies Policy and to our Privacy Policy
Offers “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Customize” as equally prominent, single-click choices — refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and nothing is pre-ticked

No optional cookie is placed while the banner is open or if you ignore it: until you actively choose, every optional category is treated as refused. Your choice is stored in your own browser for 6 months (see tfp_cookie_consent in section 5) so we do not have to ask again on every visit, and we re-ask when this policy changes materially.

What happens before you choose

Google Tag Manager is loaded on every page, but it is configured with Google Consent Mode so that all advertising and analytics permissions are set to “denied” before it starts. In that state it does not place advertising or analytics cookies, does not read any that already exist, and advertising identifiers are stripped from any request it makes. Those permissions are only granted once you allow the matching category.

Compliance with global regulations

EU (GDPR & ePrivacy Directive): Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement. The GDPR does not require consent for cookies that are essential for the service explicitly requested by the user.
UAE PDPL: Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, strict adherence to consent requirements is mandated for non-essential cookies; necessary cookies that are essential for website functionality are exempt.
KSA PDPL: Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, explicit consent is required for non-essential cookies, but strictly necessary cookies are exempt.
Türkiye (KVKK): The use of non-essential cookies is subject to explicit consent, while strictly necessary cookies are exempt.
UK (PECR): Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies.

Withdrawing consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page. It reopens the same panel, with your current choices shown, and takes effect immediately — withdrawal is exactly as easy as consenting, and requires no email, no account and no explanation. Withdrawing does not affect anything you did while consent was in place, and has no effect at all on your account, your free trial, your subscription or the support you receive. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings — see section 8 — though blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website from working correctly.

If we add anything further

Before introducing any new non-essential cookie, tag, or third-party partner, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again — a previous choice will never be carried over to cover something you were not shown. When we last changed this policy materially, every existing choice was invalidated and everyone was asked afresh, and that is what we will do each time.

8. Managing Your Cookies

You can control your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies from your device. However, disabling strictly necessary cookies may impact the functionality of the website.

Checkout and subscription payment, once subscriptions are open
The security and anti-bot checks that protect our sign-up, sign-in, and contact forms

Cookie settings panel

You do not need to use your browser settings to control our optional cookies. The “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page — and the button below — reopens our preference panel, where you can grant or withdraw consent for the Analytics and Marketing categories individually, as often as you like. Changes take effect immediately.

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may periodically update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our services. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when the latest changes were made.

Material Changes: If we make material changes to this Cookies Policy, we will notify our registered users by email or by posting a notification when you log into your dashboard.

Non-Material Changes: If any non-material changes to this Cookies Policy are unacceptable to you, you must immediately contact us and stop using our services until the issue is resolved. Your continued use of our services following the posting of non-material changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
